Donation from the Club of Reserve and Reserve Officers and Sergeants from the VMT and the VVTU “Todor Kableshkov”

The members of the Club of Reserve and Reserve Officers and Sergeants from the VMT and the VVTU “Todor Kableshkov” showed their sympathy by participating in a charity campaign to raise funds for the construction of the “All Bulgarian Saints” church, which will be erected in the yard of the Todor Kableshkov University of Transport.
The deputy chairman of the Club reserve officer Georgi Mladenov was elected to be responsible for the initiative. Georgi Mladenov prepared a book of donations and worked actively for many days to raise the funds. The donors who participated in the charity initiative were more than 70 people, and the collected amount reached almost BGN 2,000.
On 13th January 2023, on the occasion of the 172nd anniversary of the birth of Todor Kableshkov, the University patron, Col. Georgi Mladenov most solemnly presented the book and the collected sum to Father Georgi – parish priest at the Holy Trinity Church and chairman of the church board.
Prof. Daniela Todorova, rector of the University of Transport thanked everyone who participated in the initiative for their support and presented a Certificate of Appreciation to the Club of Reserve and Reserve Officers and Sergeants from the VMT and the VVTU “Todor Kableshkov”. Prof. Todorova expressed the hope that very soon the remaining necessary sum would be collected, and the church would be situated in the courtyard of the educational institution to inspire everyone in faith, humaneness and charity.
