A new tradition of the first higher school engineering graduates under the motto “Let’s gather in front of the temple!”
At their fifth traditional alumni reunion the first engineering MSc graduates of the Todor Kableshkov University of Transport gathered in front of the new university spiritual center – the All Bulgarian Saints Orthodox Church.
These were some of the words the University Rector Prof. Daniela Todorova said in her the message to the graduates: “We are proud to welcome you this year at this wonderful place namely – in front of the House of God built with the support of hundreds of donors, the church, which from now on will be the token of faith and hope of all of us for a better and blessed future.“
This alumni reunion marked the launch of a new tradition under the motto “Let’s gather in front of the temple!”, this tradition prescribing that all graduates meetings at the transport alma mater should start with a holy water service for health.
After the holy water service the graduates walked around the campus and recalled the unforgettable years of their studies, when they had dedicated themselves, with enthusiasm and youthful energy, to engineering and transport science. The evening ended with a festive banquet and a charity auction. The main meeting coordinator Dimitar Dimitrov greeted his colleagues and thanked them all for their presence and donations. The collected funds will be used for the implementation of the project aimed at the construction of church lightning protection and grounding installation.
Thank you, first graduate engineering alumni!
